Description
This original period pattern re-edited by Wearing History makes wonderfully sleek skirts suitable both for daytime or evening wear, with a small sweep or a longer train in rounded, pointed, or square shapes. The back can be either pleated or seamed up and left plain for a smooth look. You can cut the skirt as an one or two piece version. The high waist is being shaped with a wide long dart. Use at least 145 cm / 54″ wide fabric to avoid piecing! The pattern comes with its period instructions which are minimal and is therefore recommended by the manufacturer for intermediate to advanced seamstresses.
The pattern comes in US size US 22-40″ (Waist 55 – 100 cm).
