Description

Pickersgill, James Silk Buckingham and his wife in oriental costume, 1816

This beautiful pattern is based on 19th C. Osman  fashions and contains a coat dress  (Entari),  jacket and vest. These traditional vestments are easy to make. They suit the Osman lady perfectly, but are also quite appropriate for fashionable late 18th-19th C. European ladies, who indulged themselves in romantic oriental styles. Colourful fabrics, elaborate decorations, embroidery and pearl trimmings make this style iconic.

Sizes XS-XXL included.
