Description

This pattern is a supplement to the Elizabethan Comfort pattern (MA005).

It includes printed paper pattern pieces and instructions for adapting the Comfort patterns “Loose Gown” into a number of different styles from various places and cultures across Europe in the second half of the 16th Century.

The package includes:

Instructions for cutting the Comfort Gown in any length you choose, from fingertip to floor length, adding a train, or lengthening the side gores.

Neckline modifications, including a curved band collar, a standing collar, a V neck, or an open front.

Sleeve Options, in two lengths with opening variations, a shoulder wing, and a short puffed sleeve.

The pattern is printed on bond paper, not tissue, and includes an 85 page instruction manual. All sizes from 2-28 are provided.

IMPORTANT! Please remember that this is NOT a stand alone pattern. If you don’t have the Elizabethan Comfort pattern, it will not be useful to you.
