Description
The tailcoats included in this pattern pack reflect the transition in men’s fashion from the late 18th to the early 19th C. While single breasted view A is furnished with a front that is not meant to button down, is still rooted in 18th C. traditions, double breasted view B has all the details of a Regency tailcoat. The front of view B can be cut squarely away from the front edge or have a rounded cut. Both styles have matching tail pocket flaps hiding two pockets underneath and matching cuffs. A third cuff, called the Mariner’s cuff is suitable for both styles.
Extensive set with 8 large format pattern sheets and 40 pages of comprehensive illustrated instructions, including historical notes.
All Sizes (Chest 85 – 140 cm = 34 – 56″) included.
