Wonderfully soft and lightweight 100% linen fabric woven on handlooms, fully period correct. At 50 cm wide this fabric is suitable for a variety of historical sewing projects, which usually require a narrow fabric, as antique hand looms could not produce modern fabric widths. Its weave and weight of 100 grams per sqm are also well suited for historical clothing: medieval to early modern headdresses and veils, aprons, shirts, shifts, pants and delicate caps, many garments are possible.

Suitable for all eras from antiquity to 1930s. Very soft and comfortable to wear.

Available in ivory (light cream = half bleached), very much suitable for historical projects. Can be dyed to any desired colour.
