This 60/2 linen thread is perfectly suitable for your period hand-sewn reproductions. It is fine enough for delicate underwear like chemises, but at the same time sturdy and strong, which makes is the perfect choice for outerwear as well (jackets, dresses, trousers). The perfect thread to use with our authentic hand-woven linen fabric. Use bee’s wax to smoothen your thread (linen is always a bit coarser than cotton thread).
