It is the best unwaxed cotton thread made by Fil au Chinois, one of the leading yarn manufacturers of the 19th century. The thread can be used for both machine and hand stitching. It has a noble sheen and is extremely tear-resistant, making it highly suitable for corsets and other underwear projects. It is ideal for high quality sewing projects, because only the best thread is good enough for expensive textiles! The thread comes on an authentic wooden spool and features its original 19th C. label. You’ll love it and won’t want to use anything else!
