This elegant coutil combines traditional quality with refined aesthetics. The traditionally woven, dense and smooth fabric made of cotton with viscose offers an exceptionally stable structure while remaining pleasant to the touch and with an attractive sheen – ideal for the creation of high-quality corsets, bodices, or historical costumes. It is also perfectly suited for traditional costume bodices and couture projects.

The woven scattered floral motif highlights the distinctive character of classic corsetry fabrics. Thanks to its subtle pattern, this coutil is suitable both as a visible outer layer and as a reinforcing inner layer for sophisticated designs.

Sewing Instructions

For optimal results, we recommend using a fine, sturdy needle (e.g. Microtex or denim) and, if necessary, a flat seam allowance to ensure even tension.
The fabric can be ironed dry or slightly damp.
