Description

Long jacket which may be worn down or up a la polonaise, with optional ruching strip to be attached across center front to hold handkerchief in place.

Pattern is for caraco jacket and sleeve flounces, with diagrams for handkerchief and petticoat to be worn over side hoops or false rump.

Based on extant garments in the Snowshill and Colonial Williamsburg collections.

Depending on the shape you’d like to create, wear with full Panier, smaller Hoop Skirt or Hip Pad.

2 Sizes per pack: US 6-8 (= Bust 80-85 cm, Waist 60-65 cm), (10-12 = B 90-95 cm, W 70-75 cm), (14-16 = B 100-105 cm, W 80-85 cm), (18-20 = B 110-115 cm, W 90-95 cm)
