This patterns is based on two period examples and the study of numerous pictorial evidence. Jackets like this have been worn by working man, but the style was also used for gentlemen’s sport attire. The jacket can be made with our without collar. It’s cut is perfectly suitable for the second half of the 18th C. as well.
