Description

Open Robe made from handprinted silk

Finally, a well fitting pattern for this style, which was so very popular with women of all classes during the first half of the 18th century! The front is fastend by a stomacher, the back cut en fourreau (= in one piece) and pleated. This set also includes instructions for making a matching petticoat, plus patterns for two different sleeve options, a hip pad and a small hoop skirt! Both the hip pad (also called a “false rump”) and the hoop skirt can be purchased ready-made from Nehelenia! Save time on undergarments to have more fun with the actual gown!

The pattern is pulled from period originals and contemporary paintings.

One size per pack: S (Bust 92 cm, Waist 74 cm, Hip 98 cm), M (B 96 cm, W 78 cm, H 102 cm) or L (B 104 cm, W 86 cm, H 110 cm).
